Music

The Music Ministry of PUMC is growing and vibrant. We seek to glorify and honor God through worshipful praise; to create an atmosphere of worship and prayer; to lead the congregation through joyful participation; to provide worship-filled music for the services, and to assist believers in discovering and developing their spiritual gifts in music ministry.

HANDBELL CHOIR
This is a non-auditioned handbell choir for students and adults interested in music. Performing on a three-octave set of Schulmerich bells, this ensemble plays for worship once a month. The group also ring a three-octave set of Choir Chimes.

ADULT CHOIR
The Chancel Choir provides most of the worship music for PUMC. They normally sing for morning worship service, performing a variety of musical styles from classical, traditional, spiritual, and contemporary.

SUNDAY SCHOOL CHOIR
The Sunday School choral music program is held in conjunction with the children’s Education ministry every Sunday morning. They sing once a month in church on Family Sunday.
