Outreach
Members of Pennington United Methodist Church are active in many areas of service, following Jesus’ command to “love one another” as God has loved us.
Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK) - During the winter months, coats, hats, and gloves are collected and taken to TASK for distribution to those in need.
Turning Point Food Pantry - Turning Point Methodist Church in Trenton hosts a food pantry. Our communion service includes a special offering for the food pantry, and members of the youth group shop for food that is delivered to the food pantry.
Neighborhood Center of Camden - Located in South Camden, one of the poorest areas of the State. The United Methodist "Settlement House" there has been in existence for over 100 years and continues its vital ministry to the most needy families and children of that city. PUMC Missions has an ongoing ministry with the center, monthly providing dozens of homemade casseroles for their seniors as well as contributing new games and toys for their after school summer day camp children.
UMCOR - The Missions Committee supports worldwide disaster relief efforts the United Methodist Church branch of disaster relief. In the past missions has sent funds for hurricane, fire and flood relief efforts.
